If you participate in the community production listening sessions on Twitch on Fridays at 6:30 PM, you’ve probably already heard several tracks by Tom Landers, who regularly contributes under the pseudonym RMZ.

Today, I am very pleased to present to you this new track by Tom Landers, with a distinctly French House sound.

Now, you might say that it doesn’t quite align with the artistic direction of the previous track by s3bzHack presented last week, but hey, we’re not accountants, so calm down. Personally, I don’t believe at all that a label can guarantee « homogeneous » music without inevitably serving up the same bland and uninspired soup. For me, what makes the music is the artist, not the label. Talent isn’t about having the same sound as the guy next door; it’s about creating something that can bring happiness to people.

The label is NOT more important than the artist. Definitely not. And I feel even more comfortable saying this as a label owner. When you love the style of an artist, there’s no guarantee you’ll like the style of the artist next door, even if they’re on the same label and there’s an « Artistic Director » whose job is to make the soup smooth and consistent. I know this from a lifetime of listening to music, and I’ve never found my happiness by trusting labels to guide my musical tastes. There, I said it.

So, long live Orangemachine, yes, but above all, long live the artists who are part of it.

But, to get back to the point, I obviously invite you to loop this new, very danceable track that I personally enjoyed a lot (I’ll stop telling you that I like what I sign, as it’s obvious, or I wouldn’t have signed the track).
